Studio Notes | What We’ve Been Up To
Our very own John Lynch has been announced as the newest appointee to the board of the Institute of Designers Ireland! The IDI is the primary association and forum of design professionals in Ireland and is the leading organisation in promoting and advocating for multi-disciplinary design on both a local and national level.
Committed to advancing the value and impact of design in Ireland, the main aims of the IDI are to consolidate, moderate, elevate and evolve design in Ireland through creating platforms for discussion, opportunities for professional development and education, and encouraging a universal standard of professional design practice.
John brings to the IDI his years of experience as a leader in the field of Service Design, and his passion for the advocacy of design in the Irish public sector. As a valuable addition to the board he’ll be bringing a service design lens to the activities of the IDI, and supporting their work with government bodies to further amplify the voice of design in Ireland.
We know he will be a great asset to the team!
