Studio Notes | What We’ve Been Up To
Yesterday we got news that CITYxCITY Catalogue, our work with Open & Agile Smart Cities and Prophets, has been recognised by the Institute of Designers in Ireland with a nomination in the Service Design category of the IDI Awards.
We’re in great company, with the wonderful Big Motive, and Emma Creighton from NCAD also nominated in the category, which proves the broad spectrum across which people centred service design can have a positive impact on society.
CITYxCITY Catalogue is a one-stop-shop for municipalities globally, a service that collects, curates, and validates smart city solutions for cities, and by cities.
Addressing the concern that municipalities have in finding proven technology solutions that are relevant to their local challenges, CITYxCITY Catalogue also meets the needs of solutions vendors who are working to scale their technologies and create a global impact.
We’d like to thank IDI and the judges for considering this work, and congratulate our collaborators Prophets, and of course our clients Open & Agile Smart Cities. Congratulations too to the wonderful folks at Big Motive, and to Emma and the team at NCAD.
